Katashi Aoki

1947

Founder & Plastic Hall of Famer, Katashi Aoki, inaugurated business at the company's present site for the purpose of engaging in plastics processing and development of its related machinery.

1950'S

YA-1

1955

YA-1 invented.

YD-2

1957

Full-scale production and sales of injection molding machines established.
The first model YD-2 shipped.

1960'S

Rotary ram type in-line screw injection mechanism

1961

The rotary ram type in-line screw injection mechanism, one of the most important NISSEI's patented mechanisms still widely used throughout the world today, developed.

Vertical injection molding machine developed.

DC Series

1964

DC Series developed: injection molding machine designed exclusively for two-color products.

NISSEI School opened.

FS Series developed: injection molding machine designed to materialize low-noise operation.

Production and sale of 10,000th injection molding machine achieved.

Nissei America, Inc. established as a subsidiary in the U.S. (October 1, 1977)

SSE System developed: a revolutionary energy-saving hydraulic control system.

1983

MM-5 developed: the world's first electric servomotor driven injection molding machine.

FE Series

1988

FE Series developed: high-performance general-purpose injection molding machine.

1989

Production and sale of 50,000th injection molding machine achieved.

UH1000

1992

UH1000 developed: ultra high-speed filling injection molding machine with the maximum injection velocity of 1,000 mm/s.

HM7

1993

HM7 developed: tabletop type compact injection molding machine.

FN Series

1995

FN Series developed: high-performance general-purpose horizontal injection molding machine.

1996

Production and sale of 70,000th injection molding machine achieved.
Vertical electric type injection molding machine developed.

1997

FV Series developed: large-sized injection molding machine.

1998

The FN Series ranked No.1 as "the most recommendable molding machine" in the US magazine "Plastic Product Review."

2000'S

NEX Series

2002

NEX Series developed: high-performance electric type general-purpose horizontal injection molding machine.

2003

Production and sale of 90,000th injection molding machine achieved.

DCE-Series

2005

DCE Series developed: electric type 2-color/dissimilar material molding machine designed exclusively for two-color products.

FNX Series

PNX Series (in 2005) and FNX Series (in 2006) developed: new hybrid type injection molding machines that offer ultimate energy-saving and quick-response operation.

2006

Production and sale of 100,000th injection molding machine achieved.

2007

As an environment-friendly product, NISSEI's X-pump equipped hybrid type injection molding machines received the "Director General of the Agency of Natural Resources and Energy Award," at the "Implementation of Energy Conserving Machinery Awards" by The Japan Machinery Federation.

VOLTIGA developed:
high-functional carbon nanotube/resin composite material.

2008

NISSEI's X-Pump equipped hybrid type machines awarded with the "The Katashi Aoki Technology Award" from the Japan Society of Polymer Processing.

FV Series

X-Pump equipped vertical TNX Series and large FVX Series released.

2009

Nissei Plastic Machinery (Taicang) Co., Ltd. established as a production subsidiary in China.
Electric molding machine NEX-T Series, the first overseas manufactured machine (made by Taicang factory in China), developed.

Eco-friendly hybrid type liquid silicone rubber injection molding systems released.

2010'S

N-PLAjet

2010

N-PLAjet developed: injection molding system that processes plant-based PLA (polylactic acid) material.

Plastic Hall of Fame

2011

Founder/chairman Katshi Aoki inducted into the "Plastic Hall of Fame" by SPI.

NEX-Ⅲ Series

NEX-Ⅲ Series developed: the 3rd generation of all-electric type NEX Series injection molding machine.

NISSEI Thailand factory

2012

Nissei Plastic Machinery (Thailand) Co., Ltd. established as a production subsidiary.
Production of FNX-ⅢT/A Series started in 2013.

PNX-Ⅲ Series and FNX-Ⅲ Series developed: the 3rd generation of hybrid type PNX and FNX injection molding machines.

2014

Production and sale of 120,000th injection molding machine achieved.

FVX-III Series

FVX-III Series developed: the 3rd generation of large hybrid type FVX injection molding machines.

NEX-Ⅳ Series

NEX-Ⅳ Series developed: the 4th generation of all-electric type NEX injection molding machine.

NISSEI Texas Plant

2018

Nissei Plastic Machinery America Inc. opened in San Antonio, TX to manufacture injection molding machines in the US.

TWX220R

2019

TWX220R developed: low-floor hybrid type vertical injection molding machine.  

2020'S

2020

Italian injection molding machine maker NEGRI BOSSI S.P.A.  became a subsidiary of NISSEI Group and 75% of stock aquired.  

Production and sale of 140,000th injection molding machine achieved.

TWX300RIII36V

300-ton TWX300RIII type  added to the low-floor hybrid type vertical injection molding machine TWX Series.  

New Nissei America HQ

2021

NISSEI’s US sales subsidiary “NISSEI AMERICA, INC.” and production subsidiary “NISSEI PLASTIC MACHINERY AMERICA INC.” merged. New NISSEI AMERICA, INC.'s headquarters established in San Antonio, TX.
