The newly designed movable and center-supported stationary platens, which were developed by applying the structural analysis data, reduce the deflection and ensure even distribution of clamping force.
 
   
  • It monitors a rise in resin pressure during filling process and corrects the screw position thereafter.
  • It is effective, especially when a change in peak pressure at the V-P changeover position is adversary affecting the product’s quality.

Factors of clamping force change in toggle machine
  • Automatically adjust clamping force deviation due to temperature change (common in toggle machines) and distribute pressure evenly.
  • No need to stop the machine for clamping force readjustment.

  • Since the clamping force is reliable and stable, it is easy to do measurements for defectives, such as insufficient gas release, warpage, and weld.

▪ Visualized clamping force (clamping force display for mold protection)
This function visualizes actual clamping force and that of when the high-sensitivity mold protection is executed, improving user-friendliness of the protection function further. It grasps the mold position and clamping force when a foreign object is detected and is also effective in preventing gnawing of angular pin and slide.

  • The modern molds are becoming more complex and large. In order to cope with this trend, we have extended the tie bar clearance to that of one-class larger machines. It can mount not only a horizontally one-class larger mold, but also a vertically over-sized one can be installed on to the machine.
