This is a sensational debut of the new large hybrid injection molding machine series. FVX Series, which is equipped with the NISSEI original hybrid pump system “X-Pump,” offers outstanding total balance with its high-rigidity clamping system, excellent injection performance, long lasting & easy maintainability, and electric machine level of energy savings. Stable Long-Term Operation of "Direct-Pressure" Clamping Mechanism
The advantages of direct-pressure clamping mechanism:
long stroke, stable clamping force, clean mechanism, high-performance lowpressure clamping, easy setup of optimum (low) clamping force, easy mold change, long-lasting, low-maintenance, etc.
  • The simultaneous motion of “ejection during mold opening” is possible.
  • Mold open/close stop position accuracy has been significantly improved.
    o Up to 50% less fluctuation in mold open stop position.
    → Prevents takeout robot errors.
    o Overrun against stop position setting improved.
    → Enhances low-pressure mold clamping performance (mold protection function).
    o Less fluctuation in mold open stop position after changing the opening speed.
  • The mold clamping mechanism of 3-plate (direct pressure) type is simple and excels in rigidity and durability. Thus, the deflection of movable platen is small, and it maintains the parallelism for a long time.
  • Wide platen and long clamping stroke make it effective for molding larger products and mounting thick molds (hot runner, deep well, and three plate).
  • It is easy to configure low (optimum) clamping force and is effective for conserving energy, prolonging the life of machine and mold, and measuring defects, such as gas vent issue and short shot.
  • It is a complex clamping type, its motion is continuous from high speed clamping to high pressure clamping, and there is no lag time for switchover. It materializes high-cycle and stable molding with its smooth mold open/close motions.
  • The structural analysis by finite element method has been conducted when we designed the stationary and movable platens, and it maintains high machine precision and rigidity for a long time.
